What is a tremolo?

This refers to the iconic loon call that can be heard throughout the Summer as resident loons communicate with other across Clear Lake, Halfmoon Lake and Lake Nokomis to signal territorial warnings or threats of danger. It is one of our favorite sounds and one of the reasons we fell in love with the Tomahawk area over 20 years ago.

We welcome you to enjoy this 5 bedroom, 3 bathroom log cabin on Clear Lake, located near Tomahawk, WI. The cabin is located on roughly 2 acres and provides guests with 185+ feet of private, gradually sloping lawn for your walk to the lake. The frontage is sandy and allows for perfect wading, swimming and sand castles.

The cabin was originally built in 1986, but has been upgraded to include new appliances, flooring and furniture in the upstairs. The basement was recently finished to include 3 more bedrooms, a bathroom and a TV/rec room.

Tremolo Shores is located on Clear Lake, a 259 acre fully recreational lake with abundant pan fish and other game fish. Kids absolutely love the fishing opportunities that avail themselves in nearly every section of the lake.

If you want to add variety to your vacation, Tomahawk offers a number of fun activities for children. Minocqua and Rhinelander are only a 30 minute drive away.

We offer weekly rentals in Summer and request a 5-night minimum during the rest of the year.
